Somerville Open Studios organized bike ride

Join Somerville Open Studios and the Somerville Bicycle Committee to explore some of the open artist studios around Somerville. Each year, Somerville Open Studios organizes a community event for artists in our community to display their work and their studios. There are dozens of artists to check out all over the city.

The Somerville Bicycle Committee will lead an organized ride on May 1 starting at 12:00pm in front of the Nave Gallery. We will continue to Gilman Square, Somerville Ave between Porter and Union, and finally conclude near Artisan's Asylum close to 2:30pm. The structure of the ride is simple - we'll spend about 30 minutes at each location. Riders can lock up their bikes, and explore the block for a half-hour. We'll then continue to the next spot. This will provide an opportunity to see some of the studios while riding in a group.

The group will be escorted by members of the Somerville Bicycle Committe. We hope to see you on Sunday, May 1 for Somerville Open Studios!
