Bring Your Bike and Help BHC Celebrate National Bike Month
The Blackstone Heritage Corridor, Inc. (BHC) is excited to present wonderful new additions to the Blackstone River Bikeway in Worcester.  An innovative Cycling/Repair Station and Exhibit has been installed at the Millbury Street access to the Bikeway, near the future site of the Blackstone Heritage Corridor Visitor Center @ Worcester (scheduled to open late summer, 2018).
The Cycling/Repair station provides basic tools, a tire pump, and advice on prepping your bike for a safe ride. The colorful Exhibit is created from 2-inch COR-TEN steel, uses evocative images, and explores the history of biking in the Worcester area since the late 1800s.  The coolest feature is a life-size silhouette of a cyclist on a high wheel bike who may spring to life during the unveiling!  BHC is also spearheading the addition of over racks for about 115 bicycles and three repair stations in nine communities in the National Heritage Corridor.
Join us as we formally unveil these great additions to the Blackstone River Bikeway on May 30, at 11:00 a.m.
The Innovative Cycling and Repair Station is supported in part by the Greater Worcester Community Foundation and the National Park Service.
