Ladies Ride Out: Building Biking Confidence

"Ladies Ride Out: Building Biking Confidence”
With the help of instructor Nicole Waxmonsky, build confidence on a bicycle, whether riding for transportation, sport or fun.  In the 30-45 minute discussion portion, we will share tips on negotiating intersections, navigating lane position, and talk about proper bike fit, including saddle comfort.  During the balance of the morning, participants will learn how to fix a flat tire and, if time permits, learn some other basic bike maintenance.  Participants should bring a bike wheel for hands-on practice (or bring your whole bike and learn how to remove your wheel!).

Following the morning program, Laurel Carpenter will coordinate an optional lunch in Lexington Center.  Then join the social bike ride leaving from the Lexington Depot at 1 pm!   Jennifer Melot will lead a 5-10 mile ride (route TBA).  Details about the “Lexington Bike Parade” ride are at and
